TOUR CANCELLATION

Tours are costed on the basis of a minimum number of passengers travelling together. If this minimum is not reached, we shall either cancel the tour and offer a full refund or, subject to participant’s agreement, operate the tour at the necessary supplement. If we have to cancel at any time, Rankin and Greene, LLC is not responsible for any monies paid to others for travel in conjunction with this tour, notably any airline cancellation penalty that you may incur as a result of your purchase of a non-refundable airline ticket.

TOUR ALTERATIONS

We will do our utmost to follow the itinerary that has been published. However, we retain the right to modify or cancel any tour, accommodation, or arrangement, due to strikes, unexpected closings, transportation delays, inclement weather, riots, terrorist activities, war, natural disaster or other unforeseen circumstances of ‘Force Majeure’. In such circumstances, we will inform you as soon as possible, and should the change be such that it alters the nature of the tour, we shall give you the choice of either an alternative tour or a full refund of all money paid minus non-recoupable expenses.

HEALTH AND INSURANCE

Participants are expected to be in good physical condition, able to keep up with an active group and able to do a certain amount of walking, standing, climbing stairs (without handrails), hills and uneven terrain.  Participants should have stamina sufficient to keep up with an active group on long days of touring. If you have any questions about your ability to participate in this tour, please consult with your tour leaders, Tricia Brennan and Jenny Rankin.   I

Rankin and Greene, LLC reserves the right to decline a reservation for any reason based on its own best judgment. In addition, Rankin and Greene and the tour leaders reserve the right, without penalty, to require any participant to withdraw from the tour at any time, when such action is determined by tour leaders to be in the best interests of the health, safety or general welfare of the tour group or the individual participant, subject only to the requirement that the recoverable portion of the total amount paid that corresponds to the cost of unused services and accommodations be refunded, if any.  Rankin and Greene, LLC recommends you carry adequate travel and medical insurance, including medical evacuation, because Rankin and Greene will not be liable for such costs.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Rankin and Greene LLC does not insure you, the participant, for this travel seminar and strongly recommends you obtain travel insurance with adequate cover for this travel seminar, in particular for trip cancellation and medical attention and emergency repatriation. You understand that by signing the registration form with Rankin and Greene, LLC, you will not under any circumstances hold us responsible for any personal expenditure that would be covered by a normal fully inclusive Travel Insurance Policy.

BAGGAGE AND PERSONAL EFFECTS

These remain your sole responsibility and risk at all times.  Rankin and Greene, LLC accepts no liability for loss, damage or misdirection of these items.  Rankin and Greene, LLC strongly discourages program participants from bringing unnecessary valuables on the trip, and encourages participants to insure any property they do bring for full replacement value.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

All participants are responsible for ensuring that they have a passport valid for at least 6 months after the completion of the tour, as well as any other travel document necessary for their country of origin.

AIR TRAVEL

Air travel is not included in the tour price. Rankin and Greene, LLC discourages participants from committing to non-refundable travel arrangements until they have received notification by Rankin and Greene LLC that the travel seminar has adequately enrolled and has been confirmed. As the tour may be cancelled at a later date due other reasons beyond our control, we further recommend travel insurance to cover this contingency.
